Restorative Dentistry:

Protecting and Repairing Little Smiles

Restorative dentistry helps repair teeth affected by cavities, injury, or other dental issues, keeping your child’s smile healthy and pain-free. Even though baby teeth eventually fall out, they play a vital role in chewing, speaking, and guiding permanent teeth into place. When left untreated, decay or damage can lead to pain, infection, and future dental problems.

We offer different restorative treatments based on the severity of the issue:

  • Fillings are used for small cavities where the tooth structure can still be preserved. They help stop decay from spreading while keeping the tooth strong.

  • Crowns are recommended when a tooth has a large cavity or damage that a filling alone can’t fix. Crowns cover and protect the entire tooth, restoring its strength and function.

  • Pulp Therapy (often called a "baby root canal") is needed when decay reaches the tooth’s nerve, causing pain or infection. This treatment helps save the tooth and prevent further problems.

At our practice, we use gentle, child-friendly techniques to ensure your little one stays comfortable during treatment. Our goal is to restore teeth in a way that keeps your child’s smile strong, healthy, and happy!
